it all started somewhere

Today was another busy Monday at the Freeman household.

Qayla had her 2 month check-up today. She weighed in at a whopping 12.65lbs (90th percentile). Go Qayla! She's measuring about 23 inches and has a head size of 15 inches (25th percentile) The verdict is still out on whether thats a positive or negative. She also had her first set of shots which as you can guess didnt make her a happy camper!

Here is the lovely lady at the Dr's office.

The girls came home in an awfully good mood today so I snapped a couple photos of them being themselves.

Quiana and Qelise's dance class also met today. I chatted up a wonderful lady named Patricia as I waited for their class to end. She too has girls the same age as mine, we exchanged numbers and made plans to meet up in the near future for a playdate!

On another note the Lex is still giving Daddy problems so hopefully he makes it home safe and sound tonight!

Early Halloween

This weekend The Man and I took the kids to a Halloween Festival that The Floridians invited us to. The Festival kind of sucked ( the kids had to complete tasks somewhat accurately to receive candy and the flashlight Halloween egg hunt ended in like 3 minutes) but it appeared that the kids still had a good time considering. I definitely enjoyed the festivities since hopefully this means no scrambling home after work Wednesday night and taking Dora and Wonderwoman around the neighborhood.

Silly Sunday

This weekend started out as quite a bore. The 5 yr old was sick, which meant the 3 yr old was at a lost as what to do with all her energy. I spent what felt like an eternity sorting clothing that I've been thinking of putting on ebay. The Man did yard work and actually loaded the dishwasher and folded some laundry. (Remind me to get him a gold star! :) Then Sunday rolls around and that dark boring cloud moved outta the way for some unexpected fun. Me and the girls put up our scarecrows and pumpkins that we bought last week. Afterwards, we went to Walgreens where we found some cool halloween wigs 1/2 priced. Notice who chose the blonde wig. *insert eye roll*
